Q: How do I get the Greenerprinter Calendar creation software?
Download the Calendar creation tool HERE.
Windows Users: The downloaded file will be called "MyPhotoCalInstaller.exe". Double-click the file to install the software. After installation, the application "My Photo Calendars" will be added to your "Programs" menu.
Mac Users: Unzip (double-click) the downloaded ""MyCalendars.app.zip" archive.

Q: Once I've downloaded the software, how do I use it?
The software is designed for anyone to use, and is very intuitive. You can select a predefined template as soon as the software launches that will already have colors and fonts assigned. From there, you simply add photos and any custom text or holidays you wish. There are some advanced features you may wish to use, and for this there is a help guide which is available from within the software. Also, feel free to take your time: Once you've downloaded the software, it's yours to use as often as you wish. You can create your calendar at your own pace, and save your work at any time and come back to it later, without worrying about lost work due to slow or interrupted internet connections, network "time-outs" etc.

Q. How do I order a calendar?
After you've completed your project, simply click the "Send to Greenerprinter" button. Your calendar will be uploaded to our site and you will be taken to an ordering page where you can specify quantity, shipping and payment method. After your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email, and within days, your beautiful creation will be shipped and ready to share with friends and family.

Q. What makes Greenerprinter calendars special?
We offer a high level of customization (with our free software), top-quality printing processes, live support, and eco-friendly papers and practices. Our papers, being 100% recycled and processed chlorine-free, are archival quality and insure that your memories will be kept safe for years to come.

Q: How long will it take to get my order?
Normal production time is 4 business days plus shipping time.

Q: How will my order be printed?
We use the latest technology from HP featuring the Indigo digital press. The Indigo produces vibrant colors with a high level of consistency. And in keeping with our green approach, it is a very efficient machine with a small environmental footprint.

Q: How do the products compare to something I might buy in a store?
Calendars are printed on a sturdy recycled card stock for durability, wire-O bound, and given a drill hole for hanging on the wall. The final product is very similar to what you might find in a store, except that it's customized by you!

Q: What elements can be customized?
In addition to adding your own photos, there are infinite creative possibilities that will allow you to unleash your inner designer. Calendars can be fully customized with your choice of colors, fonts and even your own personal holidays and important dates. There is also a library of clip-art images that you can add for a whimsical touch. You can get creative in the software with touches such as photo collages, tinted images as backgrounds, and simple graphic elements (borders, boxes, etc). Best of all, you can do it all at your pace, right from home.

Q: Are there limitations to the types of images I can use on my calendar?
We will not print materials that could give rise to any civil or criminal liability under applicable law. Nor will we reproduce images that promote racism, hatred, bigotry, or harm against any group or person. We reserve the full right to refuse to print at our sole discretion, any output.

Q: Where do you ship?
We ship only to the United States and Canada.

Q: Can I add text in any language?
Yes, you can use any language or font on your system, the software will create a PDF before sending the file to print and embed all font info into the PDF.

Q: What can I do to make sure my calendar looks its best?
Try to use high-resolution, sharp images. The software will warn you of images that are below our minimum recommended 150 pixels/inch, but usually images look best if they are 250 ppi or more. Also, remember that when you enlarge an image, you are decreasing its resolution. Even high-resolution images can become low-resolution when enlarged too high. Check your PDF proof carefully... if an image looks pixelated or blurry in the proof, it will also print that way!

Q: If an image is larger than 300 pixels per inch, should I resize it?
NO. The software will resize the images to 300 ppi before creating the PDF file and sending to print.

Q: The pages in my calendar proof look out of order...why is that?
Center-fold calendars require double-sided printing. In order to correctly print, cut, and bind the calendar, the pages need to "back up" in a certain way. Thus the pages of the proof may appear to be out of order, but rest assured that in the final calendar they will be correct. The proof should be used for checking spelling, text, images, layout etc.

Q: My file uploaded but the shopping cart did not come up...what happened?
If you have successfully uploaded a file but are unable to check out, please contact us at 1-800-655-5833. If you are unable to upload your file to start your order, please quit the software and try again, or try placing your order from a different computer or network (you may copy the software and your files to as many computers as you wish).

Q: How will I know when my order has been shipped?
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email confirmation along with a tracking number, if applicable.

Q: It's after January. Can I start my calendar on a different month?
You can start your calendar on any month or year. Simply choose the start month when you first begin your calendar. If you've already started your calendar, go to the personalize menu and choose "Calendar and Holidays".

Q: Can I transfer my personalized holidays from last year's calendar to this year's calendar?
Yes. Open your previously saved calendar. Go to the file menu and choose "Save as...". Select a different name for your calendar and save it. Then, go to the personalize menu and choose "Calendar and Holidays". Change the start year and month.
