ABOUT THESE TEMPLATES These are Illustrator EPS files which you can use either to build your layout in Illustrator or to place into QuarkXPress or InDesign to use as guidelines. If you are working in InDesign or Quark, your page size for a 2-pocket folder should be 19.5" x 16". For a single-pocket design, use 18.75" x 16". The artwork in the template represents the dieline that will be used to trim, score and fold your folder. Please note that these templates assume that your folder will have ink only on the front and back cover and the pockets (printing will thus only occur on one side of the sheet). If you wish to have printing on the inside panels of your folder, please send a separate file, also using the appropriate template. Also please note that if you are creating a 2-pocket design, the artwork on the left-hand side of the template will actually be on the right-hand side once the folder is folded (you will also want to design the pocket panels "upside down"... this will become clear once you open the template). If you are placing these templates into Quark, make sure that with the item selected, you click on "Item/Preview Resolution/Full resolution." If placing into InDesign, select "View/Display Performance/High Quality Display". This will cause the template to display in high resolution, allowing you to more accurately place your artwork.
