GP 2007 Cumulative Eco-Audit

This year, thanks to your help, Greenerprinter is proud to announce the following savings in natural resources:

Our paper use in 2007:

Saved more than 4,860 trees
Prevented more than 458,857 pounds of harmful greenhouse gases from being emitted into the air
Prevented more than 232,893 pounds of paper waste from going into landfill
Significantly reduced the energy and water needed to manufacture paper

What's New

In early November we unveiled an improved version of our site which has been met with great success. And we've added a few features since then that you might not have noticed:

Stationery Products: Now you can order any combination of 1 or 2-color stationery products such as company letterhead, envelopes and business cards using 100% recycled, FSC certified New Leaf Everest paper (for more on FSC certification, see below).
Instant Eco-audits: View the resources you are conserving with Greenerprinter right in the online estimating window.

We've also found some new ways to increase our mission of sustainability. In addition to our purchases of renewable energy credits (REC's), which we started late last year through Sterling Planet, we are now also offsetting the carbon emissions of all Greenerprinter shipments through contributions to Carbonfund.org.

Greenerprinter is also proud to announce that we have attained our "chain of custody" certification from the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). By following the FSC's guidelines, we ensure that jobs printed on FSC certified paper can be traced all the way back to sustainably managed forests.
