Scoring

"Scoring" is the process of making an indentation (using a "scoring wheel") in a straight line across a printed piece. A score allows the paper to be easily folded.

Perforation

Perforation is the process of punching a series of tiny holes in a printed piece so that a portion of it may be easily torn off (for instance, coupons or reply cards).

Die Cut

Die cutting is an efficient and cost effective way to shape cut various paper substrates. If you are not familiar with die cutting, imagine a large cookie cutter. Our dies are designed so they efficiently cut the desired material with minimal waste.

Embossing

Price includes a new embossing die up to 12 square inches (e.g. 3" x 4", or 2" x 6"). The die will be a standard flat, non-sculpted copper die. If your art requires a die larger than this, or if you need a sculpted brass die, please request a custom quote.

Embossing is a raised effect, a logo or a graphics image that is pressed into paper or card stock from underneath.
Debossing impresses a die into the surface of the paper material, leaving a depressed imprint of the image on the paper or cardstock.

Proof

All orders at Greenerprinter require an approval proof before we begin printing.

Soft Proof: Within one working day you will receive by email a custom URL from which you can download your PDF proof. If the order includes mailing, it can take up to 2 working days.
Hard Proof: Within two working days we will send you (via overnight delivery) a full color hard copy proof. This is a color accurate proof which will be used as a color match when printing.
The soft proof can take up to 24hrs (48hrs if with mailing) and after the second soft proof you will be charged $15 per proof. You will be charged in full at check out, if any changes happen to the order later on, any additional charges/credits will be processed when the order is completed.

Turnaround

Choose from one of the following turnaround times (please note that all turnaround times are listed in business days only and do not include shipping time). Deadline for proof approval is 4pm.

Turnaround time starts the day after proof approval.

Mailing Service

Presorted Non-profit: Most discounted rate for non-profit organizations. You must supply a permit number to qualify!
Presorted Standard: Discounted rate with delivery times of 3 days (within originating region) to 9 days (cross country).
Presorted First Class: Smallest discounted rate with delivery times of 2 days (within originating region) to 3 days (cross country).
First Class Stamps: No discount with delivery times of 2 days (within originating region) to 3 days (cross country).

Mailing Quantity

Enter the number of pieces to be mailed. Number can not exceed print quantity. Price will be calculated based on the size and weight of your piece, as well as the service selected. Services available determined by quantity and size selected:

Presorted FirstClass: 500 or more
Presorted Standard: 200 or more and Flat Size of 5" x 7" or larger.
Presorted Non-Profit: 200 or more, any size
First Class Stamps: Any quantity, and size
