Why do I need a Greenerprinter account? |
To place an order with us, you’ll need a Greenerprinter account. It’s free to sign up and only takes a few seconds. The account ensures we can match your information with the products you order. It also lets us track any previous orders you made so you can reorder anything you want more of.
What if I forgot my password? |
If you forgot your password you can either use the ‘Forgot your password?’ button at the bottom of the page when you go to log in or you can email csr@greenerprinter.com about the issue.
What is Net 30? |
Net 30 refers to the term used on invoices to signify how many days a client has to pay their invoice. The net 30 application allows you to apply to be a part of our credit program. If approved, you won’t have to pay for your order immediately and will therefore have 30 days to make the payment in full. For more terms and conditions regarding application prerequisites, please contact csr@greenerprinter.com.
What does PCW mean? |
PCW stands for post consumer waste. This means the recycled material used in PCW products comes from waste that has already been through commercialization and ended up in homes across the country. Reusing this waste material has even higher sustainability benefits than using pre-consumer waste, in other words waste that hasn’t touched the hands of consumers yet.
What if my design files aren’t ready yet? |
If your design files aren’t done yet, you can still place your order. The order will simply wait in our queue until artwork has been added to it which you can do in your account or by emailing the artwork to csr@greenerprinter.com. Be advised that turn around time doesn’t start until your proof has been approved, so waiting to submit your artwork will not change your turnaround time.
Can I send my completed order to multiple addresses? |
We offer a great deal of mailing services at Greenerprinter!
We can break up your order into different quantities and send them to various addresses.
If you’re sending out mailers or any other product that will just be one copy to many different addresses, you can also provide us with an excel sheet of the names and addresses you’d like your products sent to. Do you offer any coatings? |
Besides our silk or gloss coated stocks, we also offer an aqueous soft touch coating that can be applied to any of our coated stocks for a soft and smooth finish.
If you’d like to see an example of this you can place an order for a sample kit for free and email csr@greenerprinter.com that you would like a soft touch coating sample to be included. This will of course be free of charge as well. Because this coating is water soluble, the paper is eco-friendly and can still be recycled.

What printing processes do you use? |
We use digital and offset presses to ensure that we can complete a variety of different jobs.
Our offset press is a Heidelberg Speedmaster which is the top of the line in offset technology. This ensures that we have the least amount of waste possible by having the most reliable technology on the market today. Digitally imaged printing plates are developed in our "Chem-free" processor which uses only non-toxic processing fluids that have a longer lifespan than traditional, more toxic chemicals. By foregoing traditional chemicals, we can keep VOC’s down which ensures the health and safety of our staff and our world.
Our digital presses are the HP Indigo Press and the Heidelberg Versafire. Our HP Indigo press offers non-toxic, long-lifespan consumables and uses considerably less energy than competing technologies. Our Versafire’s have digital print capabilities for short-run jobs which allow us to print only the quantity needed at the highest quality possible.

What does it mean to be a carbonfund.org partner? |
Our partnership with Carbonfund.org allows Greenerprinter to reduce its carbon footprint by offsetting the emissions generated as a result of the shipment and delivery of printed materials. While Greenerprinter has done everything possible to reduce the environmental impact of its internal operations, Carbonfund.org helps us to minimize the additional impact of what happens after a project leaves our facility.

What kind of ink do you use? |
Greenerprinter uses soy, vegetable, and algae-based inks which are less harmful to the environment than their petroleum-based counterparts. These have evolved to VOC levels of zero percent, down from conventional commercial sheetfed inks that measure VOC levels of 25-35 percent. VOC stands for volatile organic compounds which can be released into the atmosphere during printing. By eliminating VOC’s, we can protect our staff and our environment from harm.
What are your different color options? |
We offer standard CMYK process colors which stand for cyan, magenta, yellow, and black. These four colors can be combined to make any color you see on printed products today. We also offer Pantone colors if you need a specific branded color.
What makes Greenerprinter more sustainable than other printers? |
Greenerprinter has thought of preserving our world in every decision it’s made. Besides sustainable inks and carbon neutral facilities our main claim to fame is our paper. Our house paper has the smallest environmental footprint in North America’s paper industry. Our paper vendor is FSC certified and shares our same eco-friendly values.
Another thing that sets us apart from other printers is that nearly all of our manufacturing is done in-house — giving us full control over our sustainability efforts. Any vendors that we use are carefully vetted to ensure that their practices are also sustainable and are in line with Greenerprinters mission.
