Mailing Options

  • First Class Stamps allow your mail to deliver just like a letter mailed from your desk. First Class mail arrives within 1 to 3 business days. This method is available for quantities under 500 pieces.
  • Presort First Class mail gives you the same delivery promises as First Class Stamps (1 to 3 day delivery) at discounted rate. This option is available for quantities of 500 or more pieces.
  • Presort Standard mail takes longer to deliver than First Class mail, between 2 and 10 days, but is cheaper. A minimum of 200 addresses is required. We recommend this method if you do not have dated material.
  • Non-Profit mail is only for Non-Profits registered with the Post Office. It is the least expensive mailing option, but can take anywhere from one to three weeks to deliver. If you haven't registered with the post office, download the USPS Non-Profit Authorization Form
  • Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) mails to every household or business within a geographic area called a Carrier Route. This is a subdivision of a zipcode. The USPS has an easy tool to select the routes that also provides the residential and business counts as well as the
average house size, median age, and median income.

Mailpiece Design

The USPS has stringent requirements for address placement. Please download a free template for the product size you plan on mailing, and you'll avoid any delays due to necessary revisions. The most common cause of mail jobs being put on hold is a clear area that is less than the minimum 3.75" wide from the right edge.
Our templates can be accessed via the Product Templates page.

Mail lists

If you have your own list, you can provide either a tab-delimited text file (.txt), Excel file (.xls), or comma-delimited text file (.csv). Please make sure that address lists for items that we will be mailing include the following fields:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Street Address ("Address 1")
  • Apartment or Suite number ("Address 2")
  • City
  • State
  • Zip (5-digit or 5-plus-4)

Download our mailing list template.

If you don't have a list, we can help you create one! On your START YOUR ORDER tab, the mailing service section has the option to create a business or consumer list online. This list has dozens of criteria you can choose from, whether income, travel patterns, or age of children. You can also purchase an EDDM list, which mails to every household or business within a geographic area.
