It mostly comes down to page count and binding. Booklets are thinner, usually saddle-stitched or Wire-O bound, and run up to around 92 pages. Books are thicker and most often perfect bound with a squared, printable spine, handling hundreds of pages. We print both, plus magazines and catalogs that sit in between.

Page count is the biggest factor. Saddle stitch suits thin books up to 92 pages. Perfect binding gives paperbacks and manuals a clean printable spine from 32 up to 800 pages. Our uncoated text and cover stocks are 100% post-consumer recycled and FSC certified. Silk-coated stocks run 10 to 30% post-consumer for sharp photo reproduction. Everything prints with soy-based inks and ships carbon-neutral in recycled packaging.

Yes, our minimum is 25 copies across booklets and books, so you can print a short run for a launch or a class. Per-unit pricing drops as your quantity climbs past 100, 250, 500, 1,000 and 2,500.

Production runs about 5 to 12 business days depending on the turnaround tier and binding you choose, starting one business day after you approve your proof. Estimated completion and ship dates assume same-day proof approval, and each day a proof sits unapproved adds at least one business day. Transit time is additional.

“Overall, I'm happy with the quality of the cards and really appreciate that they're made with recycled materials. The printing came out well and the finished product looks pretty good. My only disappointment was the checkout process. After creating the order, I encountered additional charges on two separate screens, first for rather expensive shipping, and then another fee for packaging. I feel that safely packaging an order for shipment should be included in the product or shipping price rather than added as a separate charge at the end.”
