2. Upload Your Print-Ready Files
After selecting your specs, upload your print-ready PDF. An automatic soft proof will be generated instantly for you to review online.

If you choose not to upload files at checkout, our prepress team will create a proof manually once your files are received. This process typically adds 1–2 business days compared to instant proofing.

3. Add to Cart and Place Your Order

4. Approve Your Proof
You’ll receive a soft proof (digital) to review. Once your hang tag design is approved, your order goes into production — unless you ordered a mock-up or color proof, which will be sent first for approval.

File Setup Tips

Format:
Upload one print-ready PDF file for each hang tag design, exported at high resolution (300 DPI) with print-ready settings. If ordering multiple designs (versioning), provide each as a separate file clearly labeled.

Bleed: Include 0.125" (⅛") bleed on all sides.

Safety Margins: Keep important text and elements at least 0.125" from trim and drill hole areas.

Hole Punch Placement: Standard hole punch sizes are 1/8", 5/32", 3/16", 1/4", & 5/16" diameter and centered 3/16" from the top edge. Custom hole sizes or positions are available by request — note this clearly in your file or order notes.

Color: Use CMYK color — not RGB. RGB is for screens and can produce bright colors that don’t translate well to print. CMYK ensures consistent, accurate color output.

Fonts: Embed or outline all fonts in your PDF before uploading.
