This depends on your binding methods and what type of inserts or pullouts you want! Please reach out to our customer service team to discuss your options in more detail. They can be reached via email at csr@greenerprinter.com or via phone at 1-800-655-5833 Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm.

With any binding, there is a risk of content near the centerfold getting cut off. We recommend adding a small amount of extra space to the inner margin to ensure that this isn’t an issue. We will contact you prior to production if your designs are at risk of being cut off.

We can print in black and white or color.

Coloring books need to use uncoated paper on interior pages so that the paper can be colored on. That is why we use an 80# stock for our coloring books. This sturdy paper is perfect for colored pencils, ink pens, and crayons.

Coloring books can have any number of pages! Most have somewhere between 16 and 60 pages.

We offer a free paper sample pack where you can request a generic booklet sample.

If you are looking for a Physical/Hard Proof of your artwork:

1) Select ‘Hard Proof’ as your proofing option on our product order page.

2) After the order is placed, we will produce a physical sample, ship it to you, and wait for your approval before starting production.

3) If you don’t approve your proof and would like to cancel your order, we will give you a full refund minus the cost of producing the sample.

Absolutely!

We offer up to two free digital soft proofs once an order has been placed. Physical hard proofs or additional soft proofs can be ordered for an added fee.

The preferred file format for Greenerprinter orders is PDF. By sending us a PDF, you are helping to ensure that your job proceeds quickly, smoothly, and with no unexpected “surprises.”

We also accept Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign files, but these may incur additional charges and increase the turnaround time.

This is a great option for creating booklets that can be easily written in while still having a thicker, protective cover.

Yes! Our house paper stocks include silk, glossy, and uncoated options. We even have a kraft board option for a more natural look. All of our papers are recycled, eco-friendly, and FSC certified.

Most likely, yes! To be sure, it is a good idea to check with your recycling provider for recycling rules specific to your area.

In general, saddle-stitched (stapled) and perfect bound booklets can be thrown into the recycling bin as is, including any staples or glued binding. The glue we use is a polyurethane reactive adhesive so it’s durable and recyclable.

Wire-O bound notebooks can also be recycled, but you should separate the wire from the paper pages before throwing them into your recycling bin.

The pages in your book are compostable, however, the spines use materials that are not. Please remove any staples, glue, or wire and throw them away, before putting pages into your compost pile. We also recommend shedding the pages before adding them to a home compost pile.
